Paige Boyd: Director and Curriculum Coach/Design


B.A.E. Bachelor of Arts In Education, Elementary Education, Specialization Language  Arts

Miss Paige comes to Bel-Esprit with over 8 years of classroom experience. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with a specialization in Language Arts from Arizona State University. She has taught in both 4th and 5th grade, but tutored students of all ages. Miss Paige was the “Pride of Pendergast” in 2006 and “Teacher of the Year” for Pendergast School District in 2011. She helped plan and deliver district professional development and worked on the Math Task Force. She currently has an Arizona State Teaching Certificate, is an Arizona Highly Qualified Teacher and has a SEI endorsement. Miss Paige loves the excitement and enthusiasm that preschoolers have for learning.

Bel-Esprit Staff


All staff members have their Arizona fingerprint clearance card and 12+ months in childcare experience. There is always at least one person on premise who is CPR and first-aid certified. In addition, all staff completes 18 hours of professional development each year. Bel-Esprit staff provides a loving, nurturing environment to students, while still instilling academic excellence. Many of our teachers are currently working towards a degree in education or nursing.

 Our vision is to create an atmosphere that is welcoming and more personal to our families, giving families many opportunities throughout the year to join us for school events. Our goal is to prepare students for Kindergarten by encouraging social, emotional, and academic success. 

Tommi Perez: Founder

Tommi Perez is the founder of Bel-Esprit Day School and has over 18 years of classroom experience. She has a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education and a departmental minor in Biology from Arizona State University and a Master's degree in Elementary Education from Northern Arizona University. She has been teaching since 1996 and taught everything from Kindergarten to Graduate school, but loved preschool the BEST! She even earned "Teacher of the Year" for Pendergast School District in 2007 and "Exemplary Program" for Creighton School District in 2001. She currently is pursuing a Doctorate degree from Grand Canyon University. She holds an Arizona State Teaching Certificate with a SEI endorsement and a Gifted Instruction endorsement from the Arizona State Department of Public Instruction. She founded Bel-Esprit 9 years ago with the vision of providing exceptional and affordable education for children ages 1-5.
